Barry Jones

I've been a full-time, professional magician for almost 20 years, and as part of the comedy/magic duo 'Barry and Stuart' garnered BAFTA and Rose d'Or nominations, 5-star reviews at global comedy and arts festivals and toured the UK 4 times with sell-out stage shows. I've had two TV series and two one-hour specials on Channel4, performed on prime-time BBC1 in a weekly live magic show that was regularly watched by 9 million people and I was also voted 'The Next Great Magician' on an ITV1 prime-time series.

In 2022, I published 'The Book of Niall', a 240 page full colour original graphic novel about reality, illusion and mental health, in which the reader actively takes part in the story and the book itself becomes a magical object in their hands. The comic was nominated for the biggest prize in comics in 2023 at The Eisner Awards and is the first comic to feature a chapter that completely changes depending on the reader's mood.

I'm currently the co-host of the true-crime and mystery podcast 'The Magician's Wife' with my wife, writer Lora Jones.
